you know not for nothing, phillip was really nice to me, when i delt with him, the shipping got screwed up on my pulley and he went out of his way to fix it and get the part to me. its weird he's not being compliant on helping you out and fixing what went wrong.

 

He was really nice to me too for a long time. Even after one manifold arrived brokedn, he payed to have it shipped back and fixed it. It's just when things went down hill and I confronted him about all the things wrong with my kits, he cut off contact and disappeared.

 

Dru: I believe $5K is the maximum allowed in small claims courts, it's the worst penalty Judge Judy could have given her. You may want to investigate having your suit heard in Florida and see if you can't get on Jude Judy. The People's Court was set up such that if the defendant lost, the producers of the show paid the penalty that Wapner decided on. If JJ is set up the same way, it would be in Phillip's best interest to get on the show and lose, just to get you off his back In WA state I don't believe you can appeal a small claims decision, so at least it will be over when it's over if your state acts similarly.

I went to the JOP here and they told me that even if I win in court, he can pretty much just blow it off and go home to FL. Then if I want I can put a lean on him here. To my understanding, that was like a warrant so that if he is ever here and gets a ticket or something, they can arrest him. Not worth my time or money cause I doubt he will ever be here. It pisses me off to see how much the law really cares about smaller stuff. I'd rather just go to his house and take my money back...what can you do?

 

If you have the time confront him. I would do it in a public place tho just for safety reasons. I'd probably end up beating him. I think confronting him in front of his family would really help tho. I know my family wouldn't trust me if I ever did what he was doing. Its really up to you. I would cut his tires and poop on the windows and door handles.

 

I was telling another member about this when A2 first started running but I was shrugged off because things were initially good.

Most of these people, the Mirage community has probably dealt with. You dont have to join or anything, but have one person check them out on the Mirage board for validity reasons. Prench had a failed business before and ended up in a similar predicament with us Miragers before this failed attempt. I tried to point that out but it was in vain.

LOL yeah I'd definately end up hurting him even in public. But I'm not going to waste money to confront him. If I'm ever down there for Disney land or something, I'll definately look him up. I was told by a few people not to get what I tried to get but went through with it just because I usually give people a chance and through PMs he seemed like a good guy. But it only takes one screw up to ruin it, so now I am hooked to RRM for everything (when initially I was the one saying that RRM can't always be the best). It's just another lesson learned for me.

I think someone knew where he worked at in Seaworld and what time but I can't remember. I think he's some kind of diver right? At one point he made the excuse about getting a bad air tank.

 

Yeah, he's a diver, and has pics on his myspace. I wouldn't bother with it unless you are really interested in this. I'd say just get his pics from myspace and keep an eye out while your there just for fun. Don't want to be interupting a honeymoon for this stuff lol.

I understand but 1 bad apple doesnt spoil the whole bunch. True RRM is proven, but you can strike a balance between performance, reliability and price... and we all know that RRM provides decent performance, great reliability but INSANE prices ... Dont let this give you a myopic view on parts and manufacturers. You can get fast DIY or without expensive RRM or RPW parts .

 

LOL my parents called me today and said they wanted to take a vacation over the summer. They said some of our relatives wanted to go to Florida. First thing that popped into my mind was paying someone a visit. So...if I do end up going on his vacation, I'll definately be figuring out a way to find this guy. Sound good?
