I'm not so much saving my pennies as i am waiting for a few deposits to come in. But I am still planning on it by october 1 to make sure I still have money for my rent. That link keeps asking me to sign in, so I haven't seen the thread on quads or anything, but I read a few posts about prench and there are mixed feelings about him so I won't judge. But seeing that one about the guy needing an A/C compressor or whatever made him look like a bit of a dick by telling him he would still send the compressor that the guy didn't need because he said he was a not-so-great guy. But I'll still order and hope it doesn't take a really long time. Stay tuned

Damn, I went to order the Twin TB today and they upped the price to $425, and removed the FPR thing from the package. After they answer a few questions, I'll be placing an order. Hopefully if they turn out good, they don't up the price anymore for those others that want one.

Also, the TBs, FPR, and MIVEC Injectors are not in stock. But I think they just make the TBs when someone orders them. So they won't be here any time soon

I have to side with Gregivg and Shingen on this one, there is no way a quad or twin TB would be warranty safe, unless the problem is completely unrelated (ie you have suspension woes). If you go full standalone or even simply piggyback, say goodbye to your warranty. Think of it this way, if you were a dealership, would you agree to pay out of your own pocket and fix someone's engine knowing that they've been tinkering with it? If you modify the engine, you can't expect a manufacturer to solve your problems, it simply wouldn't be fair to the manufacturer.

On a more related matter, it'll be cool to see what comes from this since I'm still undecided on the future of my car (been flip-flopping a lot recently).

maybe i will wait till my warranty runs out before messing with my car, although i only got a 30k/2yr warranty with it, and im already 6 months in,. hopefully there will still be enough parts available late next summer. We shall see how things pan out, because that quad throttle body looks pretty sweet, and i'd be very happy to be the first to give it a go.

I agree on the warranty. I think its settled. You mess with the engine, don't try to get mitsu to fix it unless its a bolt on you can swap out (ie, no wires or anything.). I said screw it with my warranty a long time ago. Its in my dads name so technically he decides what i can and cant do with my engine. But I'm not planning on having engine issues. Cause I've already had interior stuff fixed. But if I screw it up, I'll be the one to fix it anyways. So hopefully i'll here from prench on the twin tb issues soon so I can order it.

i thought stock its suppose to be at 60mm so it really isent bored out on the stage 2 i guess the only part that is bored is the intake manifold? and the fuel rail, but for all of you worried about the warranty mayb you should consider the stage 1 or stage 2 i think im getting the stage 2 kit still a great price much cheaper then rrm, rpw and will be a great gain regardless

yes we should all find out if they can bore it out more because that will not do us any good its better to keep our stock TB and just get a intake manifold hmmmmmmm

really i was told from the dealership it was 60mm??? but if it is 52mm like you claim it is then i guess then it is a deal and would gain alot more with the TB and the intake manifold being ported most likely im gonna buy the stage 1 seems like the best deal for the price, and for the gains you can get

Lightbulb

I would like to think your right BUT......

"Road Race Lancer Bored Throttle Body
02-06
This throttle body is bored 5 mm over stock size and increases air flow significantly into your engine. Furthermore, it is fluted out to 65mm in order speed up air and conpress it making for better performance!"

65mm - 5mm = 60?! (Am i wrong??)

(wow, RRM plug?? Shame on me!! Your welcome Rock. Your *** owes me now. lol j/k)

PS: It makes me kinda nervse to think they could up the price on the Stage2 before i get around to ordering.I was planning on waiting a few weeks. I still havent gotten around to my cam & pully install yet. Damm.
