The other thread was deleted because it became too big of a mess to deal with and went too off topic. I explained the problem of no porting on the A2 forums and he came back saying that he doesn't understand. He matches the ports to the 4G94 gasket and a lot of material comes out of the runners. But my throttle body side was definately stock and I could see where it could have been ported out another half an inch. But this new one is a 4G94 and I can't tell. it is bigger than the 93, but tomorrow I am waking up around 9am to begin the install. I got me a tool box here and I'm doing it in front of my apartment, that way if something goes wrong, I can still catch the shuttle to my English final exam on wednesday.
Summary:
-I never got a fuel rail, but I will install with the stock one.
-Install begins tomorrow (December 12), around 9am. Knowledgable people be ready, I am guessing I will have a question or two.
-I will be taking complete pictures for my how-to, even though we already have one.
-I will be taking video with sound for the before and after sounds.
-Maybe I'll just to a tech review for the Lancers.
Only setback is that it rained all yesterday and today, the ground will probably be wet tomorrow but I have towels and motivation. Wish me luck (I will need it).

OK, I've snagged my first problem that I want to solve before I even start tomorrow. The piping. It doesn't fit. I'd have to relocate the battery and I don't want to do that. The only way it fits is like this. The only thing I can think of is taking the pipes to the welder to get them modified. I can't explain how but I know a way to cut a pipe and weld it to another one to make it fit right. OK Phillip, if you do decide to continue making these, please get a test car first. I'll see if I can edit a pic to show you how I want to do it. This is how it fits now:

OK, here is a colored version of what I think I can do. the T pipe will be the new colored area with the straight pipe cut in half and wleded to both sides of the T. then the lower Pipe of the T will face downward and my K&N tube will come off of that. Hard to get, we'll see if it works tomorrow.

I won't call myself knowledgable but I'm always here to help. Two heads are always better than one so if you need any help you can PM me.

This is how I would design the piping. It should give you more room for a filter.

They would have to make everything custom which would cost a fortune + shipping would be horrible.

haha yeah I also love the nos right at the opening, I'll definately have that on too. The only problem with the piping is that I'm stuck with what he gave me and they only fit one way. So it may cost more from him for custom stuff, but now I have to go to a shop and pay for more custom stuff. After I eat my breakfast I'll be heading out to start on it.

OK question, I don't want to go get the piping done, then realize that it doesn't fit still. Since this is a 4G94 manifold and will have my stock throttle body on, do you think I could do the install, then instead of connecting the new pipes, just attach the single short ram intake and use a cap to block off the second throttle body? I am assuming that by not connecting the throttle cable from the second TB, it will be functionless and I can drive like stock, that way I can drive to the welding place and the can custom weld it to fit my car right. Let me know what you think.

I think that the flopping plate on the left throttle body might distrub the air flow inside of the manifold. The fourth cylinder might not get enough air and your ECU might want to adjust it causing your car to run like crap.

That's my prediction.

Also, whatever you would use to block it off would cause major pressure changes inside the manifold which could also cause your ECU to go nuts.

Go to a local hardware store a buy some pcv pipes and rubber connectors just to make sure you won't run into problems.
