you're looking at over $12k(low estimate) of labor and parts. in other words you might as well just buy an evo, then atleast it'll run right.

um, this swap is very very doable. for one, there is at least one guy (that i personally know) that has swapped in a 4g64 in, and im sure you most of you guys know that if you can put in a 4g64 in, you can put in a 4g63.

is it worth it? eh, depends who you ask.

you would not use a 2g tranny.

1 guy w/ a G64 swap does not equal to the amount B16 or B18 or hell B20 hybrid swaps into civics. If it was easy and common, I'll say otherwise.

no one said it was easy or common. Just that it was doable. too many people put their persona opinions into this crap and thats why Lancers have no originality. Just the same stuff over and over cause people are discouraged to do otherwise. He knows the price, now if its too expensive, he can say no, if hes got the money, he can go ahead with it.

agreed. really the biggest problem is that the evo engines are still too expensive but the prices are slowly coming down and you'll see it more and more.

the galant and eclipse (3rd gen) guys are starting to do them left and right. i got one.
