Nitrous Express is pretty good too... I don't know about that Zex brand though...I mean come on J_Rooster ... there's Kleenex..there's Puffs j/k but NX is decent, I have their catalog and they have a lot of import applications and that N-ter Cooler setup that cools the intake temps on turbo cars looks promising.

zex

zex has a kit for the lancer at sharkracing.com which is worth a checkout...lloks like a great sytem setup and ive known zex to be very reliable even though i am leary of ever using nitrous.

Venom is the way to go

If you go with NOS from Holley, or the NX you will ave to get a "wet-system" otherwseyou will blow your motor up, since the normal "dry" system they sell everyboy is not suitable formost cars, "the OZ lancer being one of them), your best bet isto go with hte Venom 1000, it uses a small computer to control hte nos going into you system, and cuts off automatically when your egione becomes to rich or to lean on fuel. and it is both a "wet and Dry" system, whch makes it very transferable to many other vehices you may later have. I have had it on a civic, a chevy Xtreme, my friend had it on his eclipse. Very good product, andthey have fatory direct mounting harnesses, so there is no ghetto cable stripping, or wire tapping. All clean and simple.

Porting is the widening of the bore of a hole (like RRM does with stock throttle bodies for example), and polishing is just what it sounds like...polishing pieces to a mirror finish.

i see how it is, you ask a seasoned racer for his advice then run off to forums to ask other peoples. haha j/k
theres a few brands of nitrous systems out there, but they are just cheap knock offs of NOS systems, usually proven to be unreliable.

Venom is very reliable!!

Hey i haveworked with Venom in a few cars, imports and domestics, and i'll tell you, it is the most realiable i have used. NOS (from Holley) is good, for those ofyou who ave cars that are not real popularin the racing scene, e.g a dodge startus...lol.. or a toyota echo...lololol...but for those of us, who were smart enough to purchase a car knowing there is a market out there for performance parts, then you might as well stick to it. Basically, the NOS kit is very universal, and all of you know how shamefull universal can be, c'mon guys, you know those "universal gt-r wing" that you see on cars in the street, the ones that look like shoping carts. I mean they loked great in the fast and the furiou, but none of you have 10 second cars, an neither do I. so there is no need for that much down force...lol. Well the venom kit on the other hand has specific model kits, that are easy to install, i mean if you can intsall a car radio then you can do a venom kit. and they are computer controlled, and although that increases the price a bit, it takes some worry off when your pouring on the juice doing 140 down the freeway @ 3:00 am in your town. It cuts off if your air/fuel misture goes to rich or to lean. Yes NOS was the orignal and is the biggest company for that happy gas, but remember guys size doesn't matter..(company size you pervs)

Yeah I had a feeling Venom had an advantage on NOS in certain places.

60 shot of DRY NX, ZEX, NOS, whatever.. Its all the same. But its important to stay between 40-60.. Dry is simply better for our 95% stock engines.
