Here is a photo of the car with the exhaust straight

and here are some of the videos of it going, sorry about the quality of sound on the driving one, i used a canon powershot sd400 for it. It is a deeper rumble inside the car than you can hear on the video.

ha thanks, i didnt know you could see it, i think it is oneil or something
I just unbolted the left bolt letting some of the tension off so that the right bolt pulled it right (seeing as my exhaust was sitting left) I dont think the bushings are meant to be there to hold it straight or not I think they are just there to keep it from hitting the road. wow hope that made sense had a few
tonight
I am thinking of going to get a washer for the m14 bolt and putting it in between the left spacers of the exhaust so I can tighten them down properly but still have them offset

haha all is well, just had family in town.
It is harder to explain than I though, i guess I cant communicate very well, that must be why I sit and do math all day. Ok so having both bolts tight as hell pulls my exhaust toward the drivers side, if you loosen the bolt on the drivers side it will relieve tension on the mounting plates and let the passenger side bolt pull the exhaust back straight. I just kept loosening it off (the bolt) until the exhaust tip was straight. Like I said I dont think this will be a permanent fix but it works for now until I hear or think of something better.

maybe someone from RRM could answer this question for us?

i havent messed with the exhaust on my car at all yet so it is just a thought i had looking at the picture above, but what if you bend the metal arm that holds the rubber bushing to the body slightly towards the passenger side... this would eliminate having to loosen the bolts at all and prevent exhaust leaks by eliminating the need for spacers... again i havent so much as messed with it so i dont know... just a thought
the way the new style flanges are designed u have to get the exhaust exactly in the center and then u tighten one bolt and then the other. it is alittle more involved than just bolting on, but they do fit great after they are fitted the first time.
Just curious because of the way you said fitted the first time.
