4B11 swap???

Ok, I may get flamed for asking this but I havent found any info if this swap is possible on our cars. I've already given up on the g63 swap idea...maybe it's too soon but I wanna know if someone out there is planning on doing it and has any specific info on the swap. Is it even possible?

I would PM/email Rob from RRM. He's now done major work on both cars, he can speak as to whether the 4B11 would fit in the CS6A chassis.

i think going from a sohc g94 to a dohc mivec motor is an upgrade. i see more potential if this swap is even possible. i can see why people are skeptical about the all-aluminum motor since cast-iron tends to hold more boost...but honda motors are aluminum too; they can be boosted just as much as long as they're built and tuned right. but this brings up another question, does the 4b11 have forged internals? anyone have the complete specs on it? is it timing belt, timing chain? compression ratio? blah...

hmm this might be something to look at, or it could be like anything else for the lancer and be complete garbage

You've given up on a 4G63 swap but looking at a 4B11 ???

Why would you even consider this swap if you have given up on the 4G63?? Unless you have found the elusive money tree ....

I wouldnt judge it performance limitations yet...since it hasnt been released as well as being very new in the market.

The Evo X is a 4B11 just turbo'd and lower compressoin piston. And the Lancer's is 10:1.

hmm...that's kinda high for going turbo...you'd have to do block work.
