the guy who said that to me actually works at a tuner shop i think he is a supporting vendor or something like that on this evom but im not sure..... mayb he was talking about what nosman was talking about high powered cars.....

I still stand by my statement. Either he's thinking of high-HP V8s or he's had experience with a poorly-made aluminum piece that failed.

We have a few left. We are making another batch too but may run out for a week. Meantime, we are down to the last 10.

I asked WORKS if they plan on making a pulley, and they said no since its harmonically balanced. Is your pulley harmonically balanced, if not...will it have negative effects on the longevity of our engines?

We have had ZERO issues. THese are low reving engines so it is not much of an issue.
Works gotta say that I guess. Ask RRM and we would say panel filters do NOTHING so.....or we would make them.

WORKS v. RRM live at the Thuderdome!

Really, I have to hand it to RRM though, they have really jumped on the ball to get us products while others are floundering to compete.

Just to give an unbiased answer (I don't work for either company):

RRM pulley - yes, the stock pulley has rubber to "dampen crankshaft vibrations and cut down on noise at high RPMs", according to the Factory Service Manual.

Does this mean the RRM pulley will destroy your motor? No.
Does it mean that it could potentially shorten the life of your motor? Maybe yes, maybe no. There's no real answer. Some cars last forever, some cars are lemons from the factory. It's a crapshoot.

Hopefully my objectivity is still intact, since I have an RRM pulley awaiting install. I think I'm still allowed to be a customer.
