Then don't get it. Modifications are not for people that are nervous about using them.

i care about my warrenty also but as somone said earlyer in the thread the pully you can barely notice. and if anything goes wrong with the car the chances of the pully, axle back,or intake being the problem are almost second to none...and if it is its not gonna cause anything like an engine failure..

unless you mess up on your part..i know somone whos had water sucked up through the intake and into the engine..oh man..they were screwed

Some dealers buy them so go figure. Just depends on the dealer I guess.

my question is, seeing as how this pulley doesnt have the rubber damper like the stock component... has anyone noticed any issues with there engines... any excessive ticking, any metal shavings in their oil???

i went to the track the other night and ran a best time of 16.384 @83.70 mph with a 60' of 2.420 ... disappointing to say the least, i really want something that will improve these numbers. i know the pulley doesnt add power just allows more of the power you have to rev more freely

i just dont want to cause more harm then necessary to my motor to get these numbers to improve... any input???

You should be fine. The concerns you have are overblown. Your motor wouldn't die right away, it would probably just build over time. Or your car could be fine. It's hard to say.

To answer your first question, no. Secondly, you cant just go to the track and expect a pulley to increase your times significantly at the track IF that is what you are asking.

a pulley won't give you better track times.

the stock pulley is metal btw. Im not sure what to think . But i do like Road Races parts.
Any particular reason you decided to put this in two places? If you want to discuss it here, then I'll close the separate thread you started. But we don't discuss things in two different places - it makes it very difficult to find the info later.

how can you be so sure???? if i am consistent in launching, 60' times, and 1/4 mile times, then a decrease in weight on the rotation of the engine should make an improvement in revs, hence quicker times and in turn higher mph through the traps....

if you dont think this will make an improvement in track times, tell every guy that has a fox body mustang or older type muscle car that has converted from clutch fans to electric fans that they have wasted their time and money because it wont give them better track times.

unless of course something has changed since the last time i've turned a wrench on a car
