Do these things actually work?



It's supposed to increase fuel mileage and a little horse by forcing the air to spin into the intake tube (ghetto force induction I suppose) Anybody know about these? They are on e-bay of course, for like 20 bucks.

Nope. I bought one that had a money back guarantee (used on my 2002 Lancer). I got my money back because I lost MPG using it.

it would work possibly in a high CFM *air flow speed situation. But our cars suck in air at a cool breeze fashion. does nothing for a normal car.

Indeed.

They can be useful on TBI vehicles (which haven't been around in years), but thats about it. Negative effects on carbureted vehicles and any fuel injected except for some TBI systems.
