Did you even read my post??!!

I clearly stated that NO MEMBER has ever posted #s that high. Great, you found a dyno sheet FROM THE COMPANY. We all know they smudge numbers to seel the product. Hell even the Turbonator had dyno sheets that showed 10+ hp gains. But we all know that was a joke.

And another thing, most of these companies are in California. They get the lower hp Lancers. How are they pulling higher numbers?

134 whp and 140 wtq!! Thats funny. Thats about a 9% drivetrain lose. Sorry, not happening.

Unfortunately I did. Although now I wish I hadnt since it was just a pointless generalization.

Oh we all know dyno sheets from companies arent hard facts to go by, they're just there to provide a rough reference to compare what kind of relative gains you can expect.

That was from another member not a company and could've been at an illcalibrated dyno. Even if you take the 125wtq value from Injen's dyno, thats about a 15% loss which is about right for the manual version of these cars. Although I suppose you already knew that since you have access to dyno sheets for every member out there.

If you refuse to accept any dyno sheet except ones that show exactly what you're expecting, you're going to be arguing for a long time.

This isn't the place for a dyno discussion, but I seem to constantly see you bashing on dyno results. Now, I'm always the first in line to bash on corporate dyno results, but at some point you have to accept that you aren't going to see the same picture-perfect result on every dyno sheet.

Well I guess that they won't affect the warranty if the dealership is selling them.

Sorry to drag this topic a little more offtopic but they also have the RRM lowering springs. But dont ask them to install it unless you want to faint from the installation costs!

Shoots midunn's theory then. Because there's NO WAY Southside is warrantying anything on the suspension after you put on springs. Unless they're REAAAAAALLLLLY open-minded...

Oh for sure. They mentioned its clearly going to put more load on the components of your car, so its pretty much installation at your own risk.

Aero Car Parts said they will have it in about 10 days. $300.00 plus $60 for those who need them to install it.

For 20 min worth of work, thats a labour rate of $180/hour....

$300? Forget it. Thats like a $120 increase from what PowerhousePerformance is selling it for $179.99CDN. Just wait till they get it in stock. As for the install, $60 seems rather steep too for just an SRI. Would rather be worth it to spend a couple hours doing it yourself rather than spending on those guys.

I fully recommend DIYing the install. It's pretty hard to screw up, and you get to learn a little bit about basic car maintainence.
