Some people have gotten CHECK ENGINE lights with this intake. When you get that, a computer scanner can be hooked up to the car to get the "Trouble code" - this is a simple code that can be looked up to find what's wrong. Basically, the car gives a short explanation of what's wrong.

For example, if you put an aftermarket header on a Subaru 2.5rs, you will generally get a code of P0420 when you check it. That code means that the first catalytic converter is not working (because you removed it when you installed the header). So rather than be clueless on why the CHECK ENGINE light is on, you know where to start looking.
Got it?

the engine light would probably tell u its from the SRI and bank 1 runnin lean. It does not go anymore specific than that.

problem is, which part of the SRI is leaking?

You will eventually. The new batch isn't out yet. I drove over 1000+ miles before my CEL finally came on.

take it back period, go out and buy the RRM SRI or the INJEN. I am hearing way to many stories about Fujita for it to be a big ko-winki-dink. I dont think they did enough R&D on this one.

Most likely the position of the MAF is the problem. if that is off by a little bit or the air flow isnt gracing it right, you will get problems.

well supposedly that's what they fixed on the new one...the position of the sensor. Its interesting that not everybody is getting the SES.
