Injen Cai Dyno'd

Ok boys and girls, check it:

with the Super Stainless Exhaust System (Super SES):

with the CAI:

According to Injen, the CAI is 10 hp.

the Super SES is also 10 hp.

The CAI combine w/the Super SES on a Lancer CVT is about 18 h.p.

this is the problem, the numbers given out by manufactuers is very misleading. The number doesnt take into account loss thru the drive train and such.

The should call it what it is, a Lawn More Horse Power rating system, or Stand Alone Engine generator power system.

But a real WHP rating system wont happen until someone brings the minds together and gets them to comply. even still, some will not want to cause of certain situations such as AWD , RWD giving off the mark results that cant be compared.

oh well, manufacturers numbers will have to do i guess

not to jump on the anti stock muffler band wagon , but the current stock muffler pretty much Mames and Rapes performance pretty heavy already. removing that boat ancor will give you half that performance. a blend of a good CAI and Exhaust will show modest gains.

Um, how come the MAX POWER goes up 0.17hp and down 0.29tq between the two graphs? "BASELINE" run stays the same, so that leads me to believe that the CAI doesn't really give much help in the top end. That doesn't seem very promising to me. Hell, looking at the two graphs, I'd probably skip the CAI and just get the exhaust. Better lines, smoother power...

Comparing the two results just hurts my head...

i dont know waht to think about it, there is nothing that can be say is truth o what?
the same anchor we call the m down here the soap bar!

what kind of improvement we are talking about when tampering and re-doing the exhaust from the manifold down ? this is what iam thinking to resonators in the middle, ("free flow") ending on a tanabe muffler o ending on a carbon-fiber canister?
need son help and explanations!

Word on the street has these being available in a week or so. I know one site is already taking preorders.
