ROAD/RACE - 4B11 Header
lol i got my header install today, but there was a problem it was about 1 1/2 inches to short, so the guys that i went to had to cut somethings and put on a sleeve to cover the gap, i feel i bit ripped off by RRM mainly becuase the part didnt fit properly but oh well its all good now and cars running sweet
Sounds like your lancers over there are FED spec or PZEV? an inch and a half is a big distance to come up short. did you contact RRM first before you posting. No product is ever perfect but when there is a problem, I have never known them to leave people hanging and say oh well.

not sure if this has anything to do with it but maybe an austrailian lancer has a different exhaust setup or something. what exactly is a VRX, is it like the de,es or gts or is it totally different? also does anyone know the part numbers for the gaskets for the PZEV header, both the engine gasket and the small one for the flange? it doesn't come with any gaskets right?

You must have ordered the wrong header. The 2 headers (PZEV and FED) are different lenghts. That is the 1.5 inches. PRolly should have swapped it because you had the opposite header. At least you got it fixed but next time make sure you order the right one. Meantime next order ask for a license plate frame or something. We will try to make you feel better.

when i ordered the header i asked RRM, if the FED header is the right one for australian lancers and you said yes. so maybe RRM sent me the wrong one but it doesnt really matter i got it fixed it didnt cost me anything extra so i dont really care. it all works and performs really well so wooooo
Well, I finally made up my mind and went for it. Let me tell you, definately worth it IMO! Install was a pain in the a$$ without a lift, but certainly not an impossible task. Everything worked out well and feels great. RRM I give you MAD PROPS on this one! Well done and thank you.

Well i bit the bullet and orderd both the 08 pzev header and cell eliminator from RRM. As soon as i recieve i will post a honest review with pictures of install. I hope i won't regret spending so much!!!
hopefully i will recieve by Next friday so i can post up my review
hope to have a smile on my face after install
installed last night, finished around like 1am
, I drove it around for like 5mins after a long initial start which i let the ecu reprogram it self cause i had dissconnected the batter.
I must say i felt extremly more power down low in 1st and 2nd but 3rd felt a lil worse but it must gain it back up high??
So far def worth it, no cell yet (cross fingers, have the cell elminator installed)
Sound is much bassier but not louder. and when idleing its just as dead quiet as when i only had the exhaust on.
Remember this is the header for the PZEV 08 2.0l lancer with the following mods installed :
injen CAI
RRM Pully v1
RRM Piggyback system
Tsuedo N1 exhaust
RRM Pzev headers
RRM cell elimantor
