YEs. Just make sure you have a good jack and jackstands for install. Otherwise easy job.

if you have patience, determination, enough knowledge to turn a wrench, and how to properly use a torque wrench, then it is 100% completely possible to do it on your own. The exhaust header on our cars is in the back of the engine bay, but there is a lot of room above it. I've worked in tighter areas on cars before. If you lack any of the items I listed at the start of this post, then you'll be a lot happier paying someone else to do it.

Personally, the personal satisfaction of doing it myself > all.

CEL eliminator should be ready tomorrow or the next day. Meantime we will add the header to the website asap.

I will be getting a replacement header on friday. Since I have installed/uninstalled this thing 3 times, I am going to do a HOW TO w/ photos. It will be up in the how to section by saturday. It is probably a 30 minute to 1 hour job (depending on the tools you have available).

It dynoed a solid 8h.p. on CVT FED car That would be the model that would show the least gain. Manuals, PZEV or combinations of that should expect MORE h.p. than that!

rock i am very curious, when pzev is done, can you do a dyno for a manual pzev, i really think this should show a very significant gain and if so it would make a lot of us want to buy your header just because of this as we would have some good proof

Don't really care about Pacesetter. We have a header for each variation. I am afraid they don't know it. Plus I cannot imagine it being better or more powerful. It will just be different and made in China. Also we are not mass producing like they are. Our cost for each header is very close to what they charge so I cannot lower the price.

Is RRM planning on doing a seperate header for the 4b12 engine or would this pretty much do the same thing on the newer GTS engine as the old one?
