ROAD/RACE - 4B11 Header
yeah... additionally the PZEV Lancers (A.K.A. California Lancers) have 2 Cats and 2 O2 sensors. The PZEV header eliminates one of the cats, and the CEL eliminator is to correct the issues associated with this and only applies to the PZEV Lancers.
If I'm not mistaken, the Fed Spec Lancers have no issues with the RRM "Fed header".

FED has no issues at all. CEL eiliminator hit a snag cause we need a car for a couple days and our donor guy can't spare the car for more than one day. Gotta get him some wheels.

Spend the extra money at RRM for a good header.
$100 is not a debt setting difference and will support the future release of lancer parts.
crapsetter makes and sells crap in very high volumes.

I had a ride in an '08 Lancer GTS with the RRM Header, RRM Axel Back, and a Injen CIA... I liked it A LOT. The header and muffler complement each other perfectly. Just enough sound at idle and normal cruising to let you know it's there, and loud enough to sound great when you're on it and the tone had a slight raspy sound to it in the higher RPMs, but not be obnoxious while doing it... good stuff!
I definitely liked the sound of the RRM combo WAY more than the sound of the RRM Header + Injen SES Exhaust (this combo sounded ricey to me).
I'm definitely going to get the axle back and PZEV Header when the funds are available.
Great work and awesome shop you guys have there Rock!

We gotta rent our dude a car to get the final stuff done. We need it for more than a day and our donor guy cannot live without his car... We are working that out this week snce CVT turbo seems to be up and running well.

You can BARELY tell i have headers on my GTS now. Went from the Injen Prototype exhaust to the RRM Axle-back and im not regretting it at all. I had to worry about cops and crap because of the "burbly gurgly" sound of the Injen exhaust. This tone from Road-Race is farrr more quieter (if that's your thing)
Now i have actual piece of mind while driving my car. Great product and the headers are awesome. Great pull all the way through the power band. Feels like a brand new car now.
Considering i have a quiter and FASTER car now. usually obnoxious sound comes with power. Not in this particular instance.
Great products.

I spent some time at RRM within the last week and a half. I got a pulley, intake, exhaust, headers, and piggy. My car has never felt so good to drive. Great parts and they really take care of you. Will be recommending them for everything!
hey man. Where are you from?
Im trying to put another local meet together for the Lancer Community. Through different forums i've been kicking around a few ideas for meets locations.
Welcome to the community and glad to hear you're having great results like i have.

Got the Header installed 2 weeks ago.
The Cons:
Like most RRM products, directions are non existent. Yes, some things are self explanatory but that should never be assumed. Things like number of bolts that should be included, torque amount for each type of bolt, procedure for removing existing parts and inserting the new header. These very simple notes and instructions would completely change the extended professional appearance of the company.
Installation was a bit tight. So much so that it slightly changed the angle of the rear exhaust. It actually changed it for the better, raising the OEM exhaust tip to appear more tucked and tidy.
There was visible rust on the inside of the header upon arrival. Though I doubt it has any impact on the performance up to a point.
The inbound ports on the header were rough cut and at some locations jagged. The header could certainly benefit from some detail sanding before being ceramic coated. The stock header ports looked symmetrical, smooth and well rounded in comparison.
The Pros;
Though we did not dyno it, it is obvious this header makes power. The power band is enhanced throughout and is very smooth. Both the HP and TQ improvements are noticeable.
The engined idles much smoother. I'm sure most Lancer owners have become accustomed to the ticks, clicks and chatty idle sounds. The header greatly reduced all of these noises and gives a slightly deeper, more solid tone when under throttle.
Though the craftsmanship isn't stellar, It does look good overall in the engine bay. The chrome ceramic looks great.
Overall:
Well worth the money. Certainly changes your mind about being a econo box. Without the rasp of rice to distort your perception of power, you can really hear and feel the difference. After putting it on, one would have to wonder why the hell didn't Mitsu do a better design in the first place.
After reading on the boards it makes me worry about installing an exhaust. It could turn out being detrimental to overall performance. Knowing that RRM's exhaust is actually a Magnaflow muffler leads to believe that if it works in harmony and produces power its purely coincidently. Further more, rusting always seems to plague RRM exhaust parts and the tip on the RRM exhaust looks like a titty with a huge areola ( tip is too thick and doesn't match the contour of the car, Works got the tip right but the exhaust sound and build type is A. Ricey and B. illegal in most states ). Putting on exhaust advertises there could be some rice action going on. It is my opinion that if it sounds like rice it had better be very fast to compensate. Im not talking about fast for a lancer, Im talking ISF Fast.
My next addition will be the WORKS ECU Flash. I will be able to bring the intake filter and header up to their potential.

We have more and more instructions coming on for new products but like you said, some things bolt on, bolt off. I guess we should remember not everyone has mechanical senses. Point taken.
