ROAD/RACE - 4B11 Header
it should be.... the logic is all there... The Injen SES exhaust is supposed to be designed to bolt up to the PZEV manifold without modifications. The RRM PZEV Header is designed to bolt-up in place of the OEM exhaust manifold and bolt up to the stock exhaust pipes. So, assuming the exhaust flange on the RRM PZEV header is in the same location as the exhaust flange on the OEM exhaust manifold, then the Injen SES exhaust will also bolt up to the RRM PZEV Header. And the upside is the Fed Spec cars more than likely will not need to use the CEL Eliminator that the PZEV people will need, instead the Fed Spec people will plug the bung where the PZEV people would put the CEL Eliminator.
The bolt pattern on the cylinder head should be the same between the Fed Spec cars and the PZEV cars. Financially, it makes sense for
to keep the cars as close to the same as possible. So, the manifolds/headers will be inter-changeable from the bolting to the engine stand point. However, the difference is in where the exhaust attaches to the manifold/header. If you switch to the PZEV type header you'll need to switch to the PZEV type exhaust piping, and if you buy the Injen SES exhaust that's exactly what you'll be doing.

Beeps , I still dont understand why or what the CEL does for or to the car or how long this beeping last .....Sorry just confused... And I will buy my header as soon as you guys come out with it maybe with the CEL....Money waiting
When you have a CEL, you're going to get an indication on the INFO screen that says SERVICE ENGINE SOON (or something similiar), there will be a warning light above the INFO screen on 24-7. The car will beep when you first turn it on (so you look at the screen and see the warning).
You can live with it. I've had the tire pressure warning for 4 months straight...

The CEL is the 'Check Engine Light.' What they're talking about as far as the extra part for the PZEV cars is something that would stop it from coming on. Because the third cat is removed with the header, the car's diagnostics think something is wrong and it throws on the CEL to tell you about it. Of course, you'd know what was going on and wouldn't need to be told about it every time you turn the car on, so that's what this extra part would do: keep it from thinking something was wrong and telling you about it.
Is that what you were confused about?

Just remember too, if you throw the pzev headers on without the CEL eliminator, next time they check ur car out for emissions they'll be able to tell you had a CEL.
I have no idea if removing a cat is illegal at all. Anyone know?
