cant wait to see their dyno, i think it was there INJEN INTAKE AND Bolt on EXHAUST TOGETHER created 18whp dont ya know lol
more then any decal ever good lol
I will wait and see the dyno for the header back system, maybe 25whp lol?

ok all jokes aside, it seems that they will be replacing the stock Cat as well then since its the only bolt on point availible. Dealers are very very paticular about playing with the emissions control system and their warranty.

it is a header back, and there is a high flow cat if im correct, also what is a dealer going to do, if you think they can just void it because of an exhaust you need to do more research on warranties
Injens dyno was with this exhaust and their cai, roughly 18.5 whp gain with both products

Any replacement/removal of the OEM cat(s) will make your emissions warranty null and void. If you like dynos, take a look at this one - This is after applying "Injen" Decals to the rear quarter panel and also shouting "Injen!" at every gear change:

I make BOV noises between shifts thus increasing hp & torque throughout the powerband!

That is exactly what i am saying, and the law gives them the right to, you are messing with Emissions equipment that was optimized and designed for the car you are driving. you removing it is like you taking that sticker off that peice of computer hardware your not suppost to.

This isnt directed at you futurevowner specificly, but in general to everyone.

In a court a dealer can say exactly above and say the failure of what ever it is in the engine is more likely then not to do with user modification then failure of design.

If I ran a Mitsu Dealership, I would slap someone in the head with the manual if they came at me with a blown engine? fragged pistons or rings, and i noticed funny about the parts that have been tampered with. It just doesnt happen to a car thats stock or on its own. you have to play with things. Serious things, Intakes and Exhausts after the cat are ok, you can slide with that , but imbalanced pulley's and turbos, playing god with the header and cat.

Tuning is something serious, its not a kiddy toy, you play with the car, its allowed to bite you in the *** if you make a bad choice.

You invested 25,000 in a car, you treat it like its your own child, abuse it, not respect it, then well you deserve whats coming to you.

Only if the exhaust CAUSES the problem.

- If it's too close to the bumper and melts it, don't expect warranty work.
- If the shocks break, should have to cover the costs.
- If the motor breaks . . . expect some serious arguments with the dealership and about what caused the problem.

Got it?
