K&N SRI: Coming Soon!

Hey guys,

I was one of the Lancers who helped K&N with their SRI intake for the 08 Lancer. This week they had my car for final fitment, testing and installation pictures for the manual that will come with the product.

I just got my car back 30 min ago and wanted to fill you in on details:

- My car with the stock intake and a Greddy Ti-C exhaust was dyno'd (by K&N) at 135.92 HP. Then with the K&N SRI and my exhaust it dyno'd at 142.xx HP. They gave me the dyno sheet for my stock run, but will not be able to give me the dyno for their product until it is released to the public. Dont know why, but that is their thing. I was told it was doing 6-7 HP each run though. When I get home tonight I will be taking pictures of the intake and the stock dyno sheet they gave me. As I post this, it is 10:30 am here in California, so expect pictures in about 8 hours at around 6-6:30pm.

K&N will be out soon

Please post or PM me with all the needed info for the dyno thread. Another stock run to compare against is always welcome.

Also, it'd be great if you added your info to the Dyno section of the Registry (log into your registry page to add the info) - dyno section

No idea to tell you the truth. Your best bet is to contact K&N about availability and pricing. Sorry

if it is arround 200 bucks somethng, then worth to get it, i always trust K&N the most, they concern high air flow with good design filter to block most of the dust get into the engine

i always prefer improve vehicle's performance without hurting it's life, NA car ftw~~~

Looks like a pretty good design Cant wait to find out the pricing on it. Looks like good competition for the Fujita.

Looks good I will def. be getting one in the future
I checked the price of a Mustang intake and it was in the $280 range... so I would expect about the same price for this?
