the exhaust is actually a little more quiet with the turbo.

i just had a greddy catback. the resonator reduces the sound and too me, it sounded like stock just amplified. i swear my intake was louder.

Yea but all the clips I found were of the outside noise.

Can any one make a sound clip of their exhaust in side car with the doors closed and windows?

Its gonna be louder dude, if your sweatin it you should maybe think twice. Also consider the fact that our cars have practically no sound deadening material. So its gonna get louder, super loud and raspy with headers.
Like myself you could later install some dynamat or a like product through out the car. this will tame cabin resonance not only from the exhaust, but wind, and tire noise as well. and make your stereo sound better. its a lot of work but its totally worth it.

Yes i know it will be louder. That does not bother me. I just want to hear how loud it will be inside the car. It will determine whether I get the exhaust sooner or later.

I do not see the big deal with asking for a sound clip. I know many of you have upgraded your exhaust. I just want a sound clip of some one driving at daily driver speeds.

I have the Greddy Ti-C and it sounds just like the stock ones from inside the car.
But then again, I have silencers.

Sorry about that man... Ended up selling the car shortly after... I am Lancer-less for a while now. I don't mean to make excuses but I had to travel work and what not, and when I got back I sold the car before I could produce a good clip for you. Then bought my buddy's Mazdaspeed protege and have been up in the mazda forum world for a while. Hope all goes well with your upgrades.
