Don't know if this is old news or not but I just found out today from a guy at Weaver Auto Parts that the 2.4L shares the same oil filter as the 2.0L. I have yet to install the filter to confirm it but I'll let you guys know if it fits or not.

Just thought I'd share this because the first parts store I went to (Bumper-to-Bumper) didn't have any listing for the 2009 Lancer and I didn't want to ask him if a 2008 filter would work because, well....he looked like a parts guy. (no offense to you parts guys out there )
