Clicking noise when key is in ACC position
Hey guys; so when I put my key into the ignition, move it into the 'ACC' position, a series of 5 clicks comes from the left side of my engine compartment followed an 'engaging' sound (I can't think of a better way to describe it ) and then silence. It happens every time I put the key into the ACC position. I'm not sure what it is. It could be something priming up for ignition (but not plugs because there's 5 clicks, 4 cylinders XD). It's probably nothing but I like to sleep well so any help would be great. Thanks brosephs

If I remember right the ACC is the second turn the key makes before it turns over the engine right? If so, Mine does that to and has since i got it. I dont beleive anything is wrong with it or there would be a TSB out. The battery light comes on, so the battery is discharging for a reason.
^^nah that sounds diff. the noise youre talking about happens in my 65 cooper S. this one described in the first post also happens in my V but only if i leave the ACC on for a little.. always wondered what it was but it's never really worried me.
