Could i swap this lancer motor in mine? i have a 2002 es

I know as soon as mods see this thread is gonna be closed. You need to search. 4g94 and 4g63 are totally different things and tranny

Someone has done it in the past but it wasn't a straight across swap like with Hondas. Despite what some people think, the 4G94 and the 4G63 are completely different motors, the only thing they share is their displacement. The trannies are not the same either. Yes you can make your stock transmission work but it's not a straight bolt-on and you will obviously lose the AWD aspect (unless you feel like doing that as well). I would suggest you read the FAQ in my sig as it discusses engine swaps and it should have links to the various options out there.
