RRM Lightweight Pulley

Yeah... so I finally got around to installing my new Lightweight Pulley from road race motorsports... and I dunno... I guess if you're really trying you can feel a difference, but it's nothing major. Really when you spend 100 dollars of your hard earned money, you expect a little more. I just wish there was a cheap way to make the Lancer faster w/o going turbo...

but fortunately for me, there is a Garrett T-28 turbo on it's way to my front door, and then the speed will commence

All it does is remove rotational weight. Same thing with a lightened flywheel.

You feel the difference in throttle response, that's it.

Yeah, lol its not like civics and what not. When installing things like cam gears and such on a base civic you can beat ls/vtec all day.

I heard that the cam real works hard when you install the pully. Is this true?

well added onto that with camshafts for tuning. When adding cam gears and what not its like making your motor work better and with camshafts added you can pull more power from your engine. With more mods like I/H/E you can see more gains.

Just dropping in a new cam isn't going to help much without a tune.

it is the best mod for a hundred bucks though. what else can you buy for that much that actually does something. i agree the difference isnt huge but i liked the difference it made in my heel toe shifting. motor reved a lil quicker.
man i miss my lancer's throttle response.
lancer rev: vvrrooommmm!
speed6 rev: vvrrooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooom mmm!
