I have been interested since the start of owning mine to get an oil tempo gauge but havent gotten around to trying to find a plug in the oil gallery to put one let alone a pod/sensor that will work...

I would like to use it for the cold days to see the oil temp go up until its a good time to start driving rather than relying on the stupid coolant temp bar gauge.

Look around Evo X forums since they have the same interior as us. I'm almost positive they have gauge pods....

What are your gauges going to read? I'm just curious. I want to buy some gauges because I like the look, and maybe so I can read some vital info lol.

yeah our cars kinda stink cause we have the airbags in the a pillars so i don't think you can put guages there anyway, or at least not safely. i was thinking about just getting one of those multi digital guages and mounting it somewhere nice. there was a thread of a guy who did it, too lazy to find it now though.

That is a horrible horrible myth that has been proven false. Think about it logically. The A-pillar airbags are for side impacts or roll overs. When they deploy, the do so from the bottom. Meaning the pillar cover is pushed up towards the windshield. If you have a gauge pod on it, during a side impact, at no time will your head ever be moving towards the gauge pod. The only thing that would happen is that it would be crushed against the windshield.

I have designed a gauge pod. I am currently working with RRM to get it produced.

I was supposed to be getting one from GlowShift with my sponsorship but last i heard they had not had one made yet and they would let me know whey they did. This was about a year ago and I gave up, and my contract with them expired anyway. Maybe they will eventually produce one for our specific lancer. The original one they sent me was decent quality(plastic) but just didn't fit the car. I think they either sent the 06/07 lancer one to me or sent me the universal one.

Will do. Brian told me to get the pics to him but then I came down with a terrible flu that kept me in the bed for a week.
