BTW, it's called the "shift" key, most keyboards come equipped with two, they say "shift" and have little arrows like this ^.
i said i wanted the best of both worlds....what will make my car loud, and sound good and deep. i seriously think people have lost the ability to read whats relevant....

and, ok....? my "Shift" keys say Shift, and my "6" key has the ^

i have no idea why people are going so far off topic!

And people are telling you that what you're asking is virtually impossible given the car you drive. You want loud, OK but it won't sound good since you drive an NA, small displacement 4-banger. Even with a turbo, it won't sound "good" and deep, it'll be loud and obnoxious like most Hondas.

well amby, at least you put it within 3 lines of text, instead of pages upon pages of insulting. I think I will go with an HKS.

another great answer thanks!

i dont want a full catback because i will just have the piping custom made, but i appreciate the non-insulting, non-lecturing answer!

also, the O2 housing will be dumped for the wastegate lol

just get a straight pipe.

or if you have money...get a custom full Ti straight pipe...it'll be even louder.

there's the QTP dp...dont know if that'll fit your application since i just noticed it'll be on a lancer.

The BR catback isn't for the Lancer, it's for the Evo.

i would get a straight pipe, but id rather actually have a muffler, just because it looks better than just a random pipe coming out from my car. and im looking for a universal muffler because thats all i would be able to afford. I would buy the HKS dual exhaust for the evo X and get it fitted, but thats way too much money (would also need a rear bumper) i was thinking about a cutout, but the O2 is already dumped. and i dont really want an ebay muffler.

yes it is, but it is possible to get it fitted to the lancer, isnt it? just some new hangars and a new rear bumper with 2 cutouts maybe...

Yeah, i noticed after posting that this is in the lancer section. haha

-------------------------------------------------------

get a muffler and have a shop weld half of it shut or weld part of a straight pipe in there so only part of the muffler is functional
lol

well i was thinking of getting like a 20 dollar cheapy muffler and having a shop cut it open, gut it completely, then weld it back together (or put a piece of straight pipe in there, then welding it shut) and weld it on, although idk if any shop wants to go through that much trouble. also, idk how id like looking at a long weld line going down the length of my muffler haha

because i want a muffler on the back, not a random pipe coming out of my ***!

this is just a preference of what would physically look good to me.

If you're gutting the muffler, why spend money on it in the first place? You're effectively running a straight pipe anyways. Hell, you could probably have the shop make a fake muffler for cheaper than it would cost to buy a real one, gut it, and weld it shut.

hmmm i wish HKS was a bit cheaper lol....but i know you get what you pay for. ill most likely just get HKS because once I go turbo, i will only want the best as to not damage my car and have to pay to repair it, when i could have just spent 100 bucks more and not have to worry about anything.
