Does my 03 Lancer ES have more than just spark plugs?

Someone told me that my car doesn't have caps, rotors, etc. Just the spark plugs and wires since it's fairly new. I need to get a tune up and was trying to figure out if I could do it myself.

I know it's a stupid question, but just bought the car and am trying to figure everything out (not too mechanically savvy as of right now). Thanks.

It's got spark plugs and coil packs.
When doing your maintenance I doubt you'll need to change your coil packs.

I've had my car for a full 7 years now. No comlaints so far, so I dunno what your problem is.

oh c'mon, you cannot be serious... you honestly think mitsu builds a quality car? so that must explain why all three bolts holding my moonroof motor in place decided to back themselves out causing my moonroof to stick open for two weeks until i found the time to remove the headliner and fish them out... that was just ONE stupid problem among a myriad of many others.

I do.
I don't think any other car out there could have taken the beating the Lancer got for the past 8 years.

Maybe you got a Lemon who knows... just like many Toyota owners ended up with a Lemon when their gas pedal got stuck. Does that mean Toyota sudently started producing sub par cars? No.

My Lancer has been strong since day one.
Would I buy again if I could? Yes.
Would I suggest the brand when my friends are carshopping? Yes
