Hey all I've been doing research on how to tighten up the belts on my car and found this thread this thread. Now I understand that is for the alternator but I just don't know which to loosen then tighten for the belts.

Any help on which one to do first would be great! Thanks in advance.

 

You have to loosen the bolt head that is pointing toward the passenger side first. This is the locking bolt. Then tighten the bolt pointing towards the rear of the car until the belt is tention is to your liking. Make sure to retighten the first bolt so it locks the adjustment back in.
