what kind of intake should i buy?
thanks for all the replies... yeah i was thinking of spending the money on a drop because spending 200 dollars for small gains on hp doesnt seem worth it, but i thought id ask. haha plus my car is only the DE model. I have my GSXR 600 for speed, i installed an accelator kit on it so it gives me all the kick i need to burn people on the line. haha.
id go with the exhaust first. thats what i did. i have the greddy ti-c catback. gives it a good deep sound.

Ok cool, did your comes with the silencer ?
I don't know what you guys are talking about, my lancer ran way better after getting an SRI. I had the RRM one on with the air filter they gave me, and the metal end cap in their POS Filter shot and got dislodged in the intake tubbing. For a temp fix, I put the stock air box on. Immediately my car felt slower on alot in many parts of the RPM band. I ended up putting a K&N Filter on there and it runs great. Definitely a noticeable difference. The MAF Sensor actually fits much better on RRM's intake than even the stock air box. While I do like the intake design from RRM, their filter is unacceptable. K&N's Design is much better. Overall I would definitely recommend an SRI. RRM's not so much, I would be much more confident with a K&N typhoon. It sounds great, good torque, great throttle response. Get one!
