was wondering if anyone knows where i can get a motor for my 02' lancer ls with a 4g94. links or websites. i'm in the dallas area.i changed my head gasket had the head rebuilt and now i got a water/oil mix ,guessin the block is warped so i'd rather change the whole drivetrain than mess wit the gasket again. A 4g94 engine from any of the lancer models should work. Start calling up junkyards!

 

just called some, best one is $450 110,000 miles and 6 mth warranty.

 

Do a search on ebay for 'lkq lancer engine'. I've purchased all my 4G94's from LKQ for next to nothing. A few other members have, too.

god... bro you could have just bought mine literally brand new and it would have lasted you alot longer than that stock motor you just bought

steven i might still the only reason i bought it cause i get a motor and tranny, my tranny acting up too. the car only has 100,000 miles on it plus i need some other parts, only paid a few hundred for it. its an 02' es in great shape minus the front clip.

 

ahhh i gotcha I if it came with the tranny then I understand, but 110,000 miles technically the motor could last another 90k depending on how well it was taken care of. Since you live in my city I can workout a price a with you. And if you want to stop by and take a look at the motor your more than welcome to just call me cell

i can proably let if go for 1000k if you pick it up I was going to do 1200 shipped, but your local so it makes a big difference

 

that would be nice but i could never get that much, plus i just need it to last a few more months then i'm doin away with it and gettin me another mustang. i only got it to get my wife to school when she done so is the car. no offense i'm just not a tuner type guy, if anything i would just put cold air and a header on here. but who knows it might grow on me lol i am lovin the gas mileage, a worn motor still gettin 29 mpg.
