The does it fit thread!

Well after going threw countless post regarding fitment of parts and such i decided to right a thread.

Everything i'm going to share has been proven to work and i use it daily. Unlike some people on here i can turbo a car and not blow it up!

I run 11 psi of boost on my car, dont believe me come to my house and lets go for a ride. I have used mostly stock 4b11t parts for my build.
Heres my list

evo x turbo manifold
evo x turbo stock wastegate pressure 11 psi
evo x downpipe modded to fit. ra needs no mods to fit
evo x fuel pump
evo x 3 bar map sensor
after market evo x intercooler piping 2.5 inch hot/ 3inch cold side with cone filter
evo x intercooler
evo x stock cams no springs or retainers used direct swap.

my first dyno 7 psi was 206hp/209 lbs of tq. no cams
second dyno 223 hp 234 lbs of tq. 11psi no cams running too rich
third dyno is schedule for end of march. Will include evo x cams, intake manifold, 60mm throttle body fuel return line and a better tune thanks to me.

questions or concerns post them here!! need proof well either come to my house for a test drive or wait until i buy a new camcorder ( thanks to my wife )

If you are "new to car game", you should aim a little bit lower than that for your first project... Converting a NA car to Turbo is a huge job and require considerable knowledge...

Start by doing you oil change and brakes yourself...
Then replace your intake by a CAI or SRI, this will make you ride more fun to drive.
Then replace the exhaust...
And keep building your skill slowly...

If you are impatient and really want a faster car right now, you have 2 options, pay someone to do all the mods for you or trade it for something faster.

Well my roommate is pretty familiar with cars however not so much with mine. So i'm trying to do some research and find the best bang for my buck. So far i've already put in my own intake and done exhaust and cosmetic stuff. (White Cathodes in my grill that turn on when i press unlock and have lights on so the grill glows when i'm driving) but thats it. I'm really wanting to make it faster i just don't know what to do next. So far i'm having trouble finding parts.... From what i've seen on this site RRM doesn't make the best product and i don't really want to drop $500 on headers if they're not the best quality... I also drive stick if that makes any difference.

We're starting a local car customs shop but finding quality parts is my problem. I'm not to familiar with trusted companies or parts too much when it comes to preformance. My job in the company is more electrical and car audio.

Being "pretty familiar with cars" does not mean he is even close to be able to convert a NA car to Turbo without breaking everything. Be careful, you got 20K$ car... Do you really want to end up parked with a blown engine? Buy a 20 years old 240SX and have your first tuning experience on that...

valid point. I think if it came down to doing the turbo work i'd get to the point where i could do it myself or have enough money to pay for someone to do it for me (i really really wouldn't like that) I'm just slowly trying to make it better. I'm looking for headers at the moment. Not sure if i should go with the RRM or something else. lol Everything would be so much easier if money was not a problem haha.

Actually, the ralliart is close to 18 PSI stock, and the EVO X is in the low 20s PSI.

But the 4B11T has stronger internals than the 4B11 and slightly lower compression, that is why we can achieve such a high bost pressure. A 4B11 can probably achieve similar HP and TQ to an EVO X with lower boost than the EVO X but at the risk of damaging the internals and/or poor long term reliability.
