Question vac gauge question

well we just got done installing a vac gauge on my buddy's oz. just wondering if anyone knows what reading it should be at. i think currently its reading at 7 hg ..... does this sound about right? the tubing got a little bent while installing, but replacing it will be no big deal if thats the case. i think my old integra read about 20 or so, thats why i'm asking. ahhhhh well, my buddy's happy with it, but i just wanna double check. any info is appreciated.

-20HG != -20 psi.

You SURE it's -20psi?

Mine idled at about 21hg which is the equivalent of approximately -10psi.

Check it again. On the negative side it should say InHG. That is NOT PSI.

Hobie.. by chance, where did you connect it too? also is that reading with or without turbo? all he has is exhaust.... everything else it stock, so i'm wondering if that has anything to do with it. i guess i'm use to my integra reading at 20. i did have engine work done though. just seems different i guess.

dammit andrew, it's cold outside and you made me go look and the stupid fine fine print does read Hg, not PSI. So I'm running -20 HG.

Anytime. If you can't find the vac line lemme know. It connects at the bottom of the plenum on the passenger side at one end and the on the FPR on the other. Just get a T from an auto parts store or something and you should be fine.
