Nice. His timing belt is on the other side but you can a couple of inches of it on the far left.

Sounds good, I'll be back stateside shortly so I'll hold off any reviews til I break the engine in. But I spoke with the shop and they said the Lancer started up just fine, no complications, almost like it was stock. So far, so good XD

I need to take it to the shop to get it tuned so I'll do it then. But first I gotta break in the engine properly. Spare parts are a tad bit difficult to get lol

Most definitely. Also, while I didn't get any baselines on the dyno, I did do some baselines on a 1/4mile drag. I'll post up my pre and post-swap time slips around Jan 27th, which is the first track day of the 2012 season.

Go 11.5:1 compression.

The B16a (1.6 liter) that I had in my 1994 Civic Si hatch made 173 whp on a Mustang Dyno, and it was closer to 11.5:1 compression. It was a stock bottom end motor, and the head was decked a bit. Had 2000 CTR cams and other bolt ons. It ran very well. Im sure with a good flowing Mistubishi head on there with the right parts youll movin pretty good.

going to 11.5 would be work lol. I'll see how the 11's do and just focus on new cams and a good tune.

I think that's crank HP, unless the car is extremely modified, which with stock cams, I doubt.
