remove governor

i have a 2009 lancer gts and i was trying to figure out how to remove the governor chip how do i get to it

Someone correct me if im wrong
but i think the governer in programed into the ecu. you'll need a reflash to disable it. its not a chip that u can pop out or a bolt touch can loosen

But you won't find much hp past redline - so think 3x before doing it.

so the works P1 is going to work perfect for what i am doing thanks also is there any other sites besides WORKS and RRMS that that i can find parts for my 09 lancer gts

There's also RPW that makes parts for our car. other than that google will take you to most of the other sites that cater to the lancer.
