2008 lancer 2.0l 185k
Hey this car has ran synthetic since day one got 185k changed reg it's never had a tune up ran great

But now out of no where it burning oil I had to add almost 2 litres but it is due for an oil change

It does not leak a drop

If anything it doesn't accelerate or have full power like day 1 kinda sluggish just barely

I don't know if I should sell it trade it or this is gonna be a big problem

I've read maybe the valve seals or rings what are the costs and where should I go I live in Vancouver

I need to change plugs and wires as well

Yeah, tune up should help the performance quite a bit. Check the air filter too.


(quit neglecting the scheduled maintenance!)


Is it smoking a lot? When? At start up or when you are driving?

Did air filter plugs all my recalls spoke to a mechanic

Never smoked I think my last change I didn't fill it all the way possibly a little shy .3 and it was over due for a change

Car is running good smooth

Any other maintenance I can do??
