So I was on Craigslist and on my home town I found a Lancer Ralliart with front end damage for 500 dolalrs. He says it can run and drive home. Would this be a good source for an engine to swap over? Thoughts? I know the 4g69 is a bit different but if I have an entire parts car to source from is this feasible?

yeah...mounting should be pretty close. although the 4g69 is fuelled by a returnless system, and iirc the 4g94 has return lines...correct me if I'm wrong.

I'm not sure but It may be true because in one swap thread I read, they mentioned having to switch over to 4g69 fuel pump. Would this be the reason why?

not sure, I don't recall where the return line goes...but the fuel pump is easy replace...our fuel injectors are only 305cc, I can't see why the pump from the 2.0L wouldn't work...

edit*

Just out of curiosity, I checked ASA and the 2.0L and 2.4L use the same fuel pump...

I have both cars next to each other now in my back yard. At this point I have the radiator, airbox, fuse box, ecu, and harness from the fuse box to the alt, starter, fuel rail, spark plugs, and transmission. Should I start a new thread or continue here? and if start a new one what forum should it go in?

But should it go in the Lancer forums or the Ralliart forums?
