To answer your question. It does have one. I too, was thinking of getting a nos kit. Had the order ready and all, but decided against it.

Dont forget that venom has been reported to the "Better Business Burough" for not responding to customer complaints. You can even look it up yourselfs if you dont believe me.

The customer is usually wrong. That's all I have to say. Can you imagine the complaints a company that makes/sells N2O must get?

Personally I think you're taking the same risk no matter what brand, but I've read a lot of positives, on and off the forums, for Venom. Not my car, not my choice.

It won't ruin your engine if installed/used properly, but it certainly puts it under a lot of stress and will most likely shorten its life in the long run. So will TCing. Not my cup of tea, but it's certainly the cheapest and most effective way to drop 1/4mi times.

Hobie,
They werent only reported to "BBR" for nos problems. A lot of other things as well. I also hear good things about them. My friend is the one that found this info online. Didnt believe him until he showed me a while ago.

I didn't mean that in defense of them so much as all companies that sell N2O

I know nothing of them aside from ads and reviews.

Regardless, after looking at the Mirage forum, NOS (Nitrous Oxide Systems by Holley) has a kit for the Mirage. If you nab the kit for the 5G Mirage 97+, it has a distinct possibility for fitting.

Okay, probably going to be given a warning about the TOS, but... that had to be the most unbelievably unintelligable post I've seen in a long time. You're having problem with Civics? Hell, HONDA products less than the Si's and S2000s? Good lord. If you're having problems driving just in general, then, I guess get nitrous of some variety if you want a Lancer-shaped paper weight. Life size of course. As for the 3000GT... you know, that is a 6 that is a sportscar, of course. That's actually the most FORMIDABLE car you listed, not the "much less" car.

Nitrous is a quick fix solution, and in my opinion, the laziest way to go about HP gains. Hard work usually means reliability, and increased engine life. If that's not important to you, feel free to cut corners, use things that will shorten engine life, and if used wrong will DESTROY your engine.

All it took to turn me away from nitrous is a friend of mine that told me about a Corolla he had. The guy had sunk about 9K into this thing, TC'd it, intercooled it, ported, polished, and basically done everything possible to it. He had 500 bucks in his pocket, and got antsy. So, he put NOS on. One punch. Damaged the block. Not too bad, but, down time was 6 months. Got it running again. Second punch. Cracked the block into THREE pieces. This is with complete internals. I'll be honest... I don't know what shots he was using, or what type of shot he was using, but, this guy was a very very good driver, had done goodly amounts of research on technique before pressing that button, and had to sell that car for 3K. That's enough for me to go... I'll wait to do it the hard way.
