Will a Ralliart Snorkle and a K&N High flow filter create much difference in engine sound or does anyone know of an intake for the 2.0L where the intake goes into the airbox, Takeda makes one for the 2.4 But I’m just wondering is there one for the 2.0L like this, I don’t want one that doesn’t go into the airbox because all it sucks is hot engine air
Example of the 2.4 L takeda intake going into air box

I believe the 4B10, 4B11 and 4B12 all share the same air intakes, so that Takeda one should fit.
On my car I have the Ralliart intake duct and a Cosworth oil-free airfilter (the blue one, which is meant for the Evo X I think). It is a bit louder but not to a point where it bothers me, don't know about the Takeda though.
Perfomance wise it doesn't make a lot of difference. I would not spend my money on a fancy Takeda
I went with the aem cold air, I haven't got a code yet. I tried all kinds of set ups too. but not nothing I did would ever work. i had a cheap one from ebay first it worked but would throw a code. but the car was running to lean. and the car would die if I pushed in the clutch at high rpm.. so if you do get a new intake make sure it is a good one. I learned the hard way and lots of hours trying to find the problem. it was a crappy intake.
