check U9V's registry. he has the reflash. it's not the piggyback, but should have similar maps.

I'm about to start my engine work. Do you think I would benefit from this cam? Or should I do the bolt-ons (intake, exhaust, hi flow cat, etc.) first?

Urban I believe RPW (Mitsiman) recommends the breathing upgrades first before the Cam. I am sure you could do it first but I don't think it will be as potent if you do it alone.

the cam also moves peak hp up a few rpm. people with the ecu reflash(not the piggyback) could benefit since their rev limiter has been extended to 6700rpm?(not too sure). Urban, you could def benefit from a cam and stay up in the high rpm all day when you auto-x

as in breathing upgrades: intake and ported intake manifold. that's at the least. what's left is throttle body, head work and internal related stuff.

hmm... i guess imma have to hold off on the cam stuff... cuz i am going to need the intake manifold and prolly going to get the throttle body at the same time... and how much of a horsepower difference are we looking at between the piggyback and the ecu reflash?

No one knows for sure but they are supposed to be one and the same except for the lack of the rev limit being extended on the Piggy back. It does not have that capability we are told.

Hey all, didn't see this post til now...
First off cam is great. I will say that you NEED the cam gear in order to run smoothly. I'd recommend Emanage, as it gives you a bit more capability than the AFC, but the AFC works fine too. You don't need ALL the breather mods, I still don't have the ported intake man and the bored TB and I feel tons of high end gains. I think my peak tq is more around 6k.....revs go far past that into 6500-6700.
The 40 mpg posted a long time ago is gone now...I've added more fuel via SAFC and used the extra MPG to turn into more hp. The cam really changes your A/F ratio and you will have to adjust for that. Any more questions, PM me.
Seacrest out....
I had to say that

I'm a little bit lost on something. I know about the RRM piggyback, but who is reflashing the Lancer? I am intrested in getting a cam and want to be able to take advantage of the higher redline.

That product has been discontinued. RRM used to reflash the ECU.
