I thought Uranium9v got his cam to work perfectly and even reported gas mileage as high as 40 mpg with it!!!

Here are RPW's camshafts: HERE

-The standard grind on average is - TBA
-Stage 1 grind is for all standard / lightly modified vehicles with or without ECU modifications (not necessary)
-Stage 2 grind is for improved mid range / top end at the expense of slight loss of torque at low rpm. Valve Springs required, Vernier Cam gear optional.
-Stage 3 grind is for improved upper mid range / top end at the expense of loss of torque at low rpm levels. Valve Springs & Vernier Cam gear required.
-Stage 4 + grinds available for racing purposes only. Valve Springs required & Vernier Cam Gear Required.
-Above grinds are also available in a turbo / supercharger format to improve the efficiency of such system.

He had an entire thread dedicated to the install and outcome and if I remember right, it was about $400+ to install which was the only downside to the whole event. The gains were good and mileage actually went up.

his review:

what were you guys searching for? i just put in "rpw cam" and looked for uranium9v's name in the thread starter. later in the first thread the rich condition was fixed when U9V found out the dealership that installed the cam forgot to hook the MAS back up. it was running in limp mode the whole time.

Anyone who knows please fill me in on what i need to order and get installed Im looking to do this fairly son probably next month. SO i want the right cam and AFC if i need it with my turbo which il get from RRM or RPW depending. Any help is greatly appreciated thank you.

NA cam doesn't need anything. safc does help optimize A/F ratios but is not necessary.

as far as turbo cam, i don't know but would think that it would need more than just an safc. rpw turbo kit requires injector upgrades as RRM kit does not. i wouldn't count on compatibility until someone tries it.

an email from RPW said that an NA cam does not make good power with a turbo. if you're NA now and plan on going turbo later, the turbo cam on an NA would give better low end torque and midrange while being a little lazy on the top end. so it all depends.
