Turbo muffler on N/A car

What do you think would happen if I put a turbo muffler on a N/A car. Would the sound supress more or heighten it? Would it be deeper or quieter? I have a CAI rpw headers, high flow cat, and 2.25 custom exhaust. Right now I have a flowmaster muffler that is raspy as hell and I want to get rid of that sound. Would a turbo muffler do it or not?

What the hell is a turbo muffler first off??? Second the only way to tell if it'll sound good is to test it out.

Borla makes a turbo muffler and I'm just wondering if it would quiet down the exhaust more than a regular aftermarket N/A muffler.

nope.... the only thing it will do for you is slow you down... turbo muffler... for most means a 3 inch inlet... which means to you a loss of back pressure

No, they make one with a 2.25 inlet and outlet. Check it out... its under products at the top of the page, then, universal mufflers, then, turbo mufflers.

The turbo muffler will be good if you add a mean *** cam and also a street port job to you
list of mods. I still wouldn't go three inches unless you plan on going turbo soon.

I think the Borla turbo is just a name, honestly. Every car has a different necessity for exhaust and backpressure...buy one thats made for the car. Now if you mean putting an Evolution exhaust on a regular lancer, 1st off, good luck. 2nd, it'd be like putting an intercooler between an "intake" (read: the confusion of words that signals an airfilter with a tube on it) and the throttle body. Pointless.

After seeing that muffler, I can honestly tell you your gonna be alright. I thought you were
talking about something like the Apexi N-1 or bigger exhaust.

OK......... Now I'm still wondering if that muffler (That can handle 300hp....with maybe a turbo?) would quiet down the exhaust more than a regular aftermarket one?

It doesn't seem bad, I like it because the way it's designed, you can pull off the sleeper mode, it doesn't seem easilly noticible.

TC muffler is just a product name.

A real TC muffler will be over 2.5 to 3.0 inches.
