I got a tach meter from a friend and was wondering how to hook up the rpm the power is easy but whre does the rpm wire go??? I have a 2002 oz rally lancer

 

i got a tach off my friend to, i was gonna put it in my truck but i didnt, it said to take the wire and put it into the 'negative coil wire' but i would just assume lookin at the ecu diagram floating on this forum somewhere and splice into the RPM signal wire.

and the auto and manual have decent ecu's..the manual is more like the evo, and the automatic is more like the suv....if i remember right...
