GReddy Develpoing catback exhaust for Lancer

I don't know anything about it as of now except that they are making a FULL CATBACK EXHAUST under their EVO Evolution name. I read this on the back of the new Import Tuner that also has a 5 page article on the Street Concept Lancer. If this topic has been discussed then please excuse me for being behind. I don't know about you guys but I'm definately getting one.

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...dy+and+exhaust <---been covered before, never knew there was an article so that is always good sign hopefully. Would be nice if they were a bit more responsive about their Airinx intakes (really now, is a foam element, 1 or 2 pieces of mandrel bent aluminum and some couplers/adapters that hard!?). Like I said in the Parts Thread a few days ago, I'm losing interest/faith in them. What I'd really like is some HKS stuff...but that's just me.

Yeah, the article is great and makes the lancer look like a real *** kicker. I'm sure this will sppark a few new after-market products from some new companies. If anyone didn't know, the street concept lancer has a single-fogger 60 hp dry shot NOS system, a RMR intake and strut. I didn't know about the fogger system before I read the article. If you havent gotten a copy of the Novermber issue of Import Tuner then get it cause it made me proud to own a lancer again (I was always proud but it made me even more proud).

EDIT: If I get Greddy's exhaust then can I still get RRM's catylitic converter or will the cat back replace the need for it?

Coudn't agree more P about wanting HKS to start production on parts for our cars.

full catback, intake and the test pipe will provide us with what? 10-20hp? why don't we focus on getting somebody to make some forged internals and go boost happy, or go after that NOS sport compact system and start sprayin some bigger numbers...

I would actually like a full aftermarket exhaust system from headers to tailpipe..no factory pipe in between at all. that would be so sweet

I raced a Lancer yesterday..in my Dodge Caravan...thing is a 3 speed??!!!I guess he wasn't really racing...anyway depending on the price, I may go for the full system too...otherwise I'll just get a full custom job from the local muffler shop.

I raced a 2003 Chevy Cavalier silver i think it was one of those z24 jobs because it had a tail fin and stock ground effects and those weird round tail lights. Anyway I smoked that fool in my OZ Rally, I think it p.o.'ed him becasue when he caught up with me in city traffic he tailgated me and was swerving back and forth.
What a sore loser

Probably doesnt help that my lancer roars with that hillbilly custom intake and his friend was laughing at him for being beat by a foreign car

The Lancer looks like it's starting to get the props it deserves. I mean, new mag articles, people hooking them up, and I get compliments all the time. It's slick, there's a performance place around here, that's the only decent one, and alot of tuners just kinda hang out there because there is a big screen with a ps2 hooked up to it (GT3 constantly), and every time I go in there, and mention I got a Lancer, for some reason people go "Aaah.." instead of the "Awww" the initial specs would lead you to believe people would say. Yay for Lancer.

Oh yeah. Which is a puzzling thing, since usually they have at least one TT Supra or WRX in their lot. Not the same category or eve close, I know, but, if there isn't at least 4 out of 5 vehicles there either on the bottle or with some manner of forced induction, I'll eat my hat. But, for some reason, they seem fond of the little N/A bastard.
