Water Pump Recall?
You guys are looking a gift horse in the mouth. I WISH my Evo had a water pump recall. For those of you that don't know, a timing belt replacement is an in-depth maintenance service. It costs a significant amount of money, and it's normally best to replace your water pump at that time. On my old Eclipse, I went the cheap route and didn't replace the water pump at the 60K mile service. Well, here comes 80K miles and a leaking water pump, and I had to pay for the whole timing belt labor replacement all over again. I should have had it replaced while all the belts and everything were off.
My point is, go buy new belts(if you can't get them for free), and schedule a timing belt and water pump replacement on
's dime, and quitcherbichen for god's sake
EDIT: I just read the part where the guy re-read the recall letter
oooops.
