USDM and Australian Lancer differences?

Hi all,

just wondering if anybody knows what the differences are between your USDM lancers and the ones that are available to us here in Australia might be.

my lancer is a 2002 LS.

I want to give the RRM piggy back unit a go, but i dont know if the wiring would be the same in my car.

not to many CG lancers here in Perth, but there are loads of 1.5L & 1.8L - CC & CE Lancers ( your mirage's ) with greddy e-manage units, so i want to do something a bit different.

any info appreciated.

cheers
Luke

If you have the same engine as us (4g94) then im pretty sure it'd work. Otherwise it wouldnt work.

From what people have been saying on here who have the emanage, you might as well go with it because it allows greater tuneability in the future when adding harnesses etc.

the PB is what is and you will be limited to the preproggrammed maps.

Just My opinion having own a PB.

Differences between the US and Austrailian Lancer: It's kinda like a toilet, in the US you have to drive it counter-clockwise on the skidpad while down under you drive clockwise, and... j/k

You might want to see how different the emissions laws are and see if Mitsubishi made any alterations according to that. But 99.99% most likely, you will be just fine with the piggy-back.
