............... baaaaawaaaaaahaaaaaaa..........You talk alot about things on this panel not just mine, looking like ***, but your TWO-TONE ride isnt getting too many people to appreciate import cars. Its pretty obvious why you dont put many pics of your ride on this forum, so I will do it for you. Personally I would prefer to have "played out" fenders than a two tone car.

Yup, I picked these. Brand spankin new. No other reason......So do you see peoples reaction to my car from where you are?.... I dont think so.....I havent received any negative responses, to the contrary I have people come up out of their way to say that they like it. Even at stoplights I have more people tell me that they like it. I see people that dont know that I can see them looking at my car, and they arent pointing and laughing. And especially kids love the car......they would be the first ones to point an laugh but they dont, they say "tight" 'cool" "sweet" "DAMN" "sprung" all their words not mine. Oh im sure there are negative ones but I personally havent seen them. Most of you guys just dont have the ***** to roll with them.

No, thats a vote for getting rims that are functional, and visually appealing, every car has a different rim style that looks best on it, something like a supra, viper, corvette, or italian sports car looks incredible with huge open rims with fat lips, but on a lancer it looks dumb. Thats cool, when you are trying to make your car different you end up going in different directions, and for our car there arent alot of options. These fenders were one of them and they serve their purpose of making the car look different.

I am not getting upset about it, tired of it maybe, but not upset. My problem is NOT with the people who bash my rims. You can see that throughout my posts. Its not until I am PERSONALLY attacked, do I get irritated. I never asked what people think about the rims.....or did you miss that. THis thread was about my fenders and my new pics. I didnt post "heres my car what do you think?" If so then I would be open to any attack on anything to do with my car. You or anyone else can bash away at my car.....I find alot of them funny......but if you insult me personally I will respond with . Thats why the specified response to you as well as aka.

It is original in combination with everything else. There arent alot of Lancers with them so it would be original in that aspect, not as in orignal, never seen before, ever.

If you wanted to put on a roof scoop then cool, I might tell you its not my style or I dont like it or whatever, but would not tell you that your car looks like *** and your lame for doing it. Its your thing, not mine.

Theres a difference between ragging and saying something looks like *** or a piece of $hit or whatever. Its your opinion, and not necessary to get your point across. But whatever just direct it at my car, not me.

If your attack was not meant in a personal matter then you have my apologies.

See, you fail to say "rims that are visually appealing to the one who is making the purchase" I like the way my rims look. Peroid. I dont care what anyone says, I still like them. I personally, HATE rims that look like ANY of them from that link. can you say BORING??? Its just me. I find them to be VERY plain (read dull and uninteresting) Visually I personally wanted to stay away from those type of rims as they bring along the "rice" look and stereotype. Functionally, Im sure they are great. I was just going for the Big Visual. Thats it. I love the big in your face look. Its not for everyone.

Uh...rotas are almost as far from rice as you can get, they are not designed to be pretty, or flashy, they are made to be light, wide, and completely functional, which is why I like them, I rather have a car that can handle great, and go fast, not much into looks. Its like my interior, I have ralliart seats, and no bling, just a CD player and the shifter, which is all I need.
