Well when i put this cf hood on w/ stock bumper; it doesnt seem to fit; not because the bumper has anything to do with it because it seems to be that the headlights are kinda in the way; it wont come down and "lock" into the latch; it does lock in the first portion of the latch but not the second; also; there is a gap on one side (obviously its not centered) but when i centered it again or even temply center it; the damn thing still isnt able to come down to lock; can anyone help me? im about to go crazy; just spend this money and the thing doesnt fit;

I just noticed the little bumpers on both sides; the ones right about each headlight; the seemed to be protruding about 1.5 inchs (maybe less/more im just guessing) anyway it was higher than normal; could this be the problem? i just dont want to test it again; its getting late and i dont feel like pulling the hood off again.....but i screwed them in a bit more; i hope that is whats causeing the blockage; if not ........ :*%$@!$#%&*:

 

i believe the little bumpers are the problem. If I remember correctly I read in another thread that removing them will allow the hood to latch correctly.

 

OMG i hope so; thanks; ive been in a pissy mood since i couldnt get it closed; you help me rest easy. but if it doesnt work ILL CUT YOU HEART OUT WITH A SPOON (b/c it will hurt more). j/k thanks bro
