:looks around: damn there is a lot of drama in here but it seems like it has died down since u guys got to see the actual vid of mark walking away from the other car in just a few seconds. for all of u skeptics/haters i was there at MOD on saturday and have rode in marcs car when he was stage 1 and now stage 2 and it is fast! now let me lay down the facts.
-this sponsored guy has been running his mouth ever since he joined sclc and thinks his car is superior to all other lancers
-the reason there isn't much info on his turbo kit other than the fact that he is running a T-28 is because the owner didn't even know much about the kit himself when we asked him
-Marc was not trying to be badass and callout this guy, it was the other way around. the custom guy said "i'll beat any turbo lancer here" and after a bit of convincing from the other sclc peeps marc nicely asked him if he wanted to run
-marcs car easily walks away from the guys car from a very low speed roll. the auto was at less of a disadvantage because they where rolling and the distance was 4 cars in a few seconds. the custom turbo would not have caught him up top, it would have been even worse if they went longer, maybe buslengths.
-this guys is very cocky and was the one who started the challenge and even after marc handed him his ***, marc didn't do anything cocky like talking down to him
-a race is a race, u can't say this is apples to oranges because the custom guy was the one who called everyone out.
- this guy doesn't know much about his car but still thinks he is better than everyone else, he even got an interview at MOD and said that he would easily run 12s
-if u guys hate ///RRM so much u should think about modding another car because they are the most dedicated people to the lancer right now and they do do R&D to make sure they are making quality products. if u think u can do better go ahead and try. they don't care if u don't buy their stuff because they know they can't please everybody, but at the end of the day everyone comes back to ///RRM. people with other kits like TSi and Ripp who end up blowing thier engines go to ///RRM and they always glady help them out. Road Race is there for the lancer like nobody else and they even work closely w/ mitsu. thats right, the same company that makes your car works w/ a company that makes aftermarket parts for u!
i don't normally post too much on here but today i had to because some of u guys on here are talking just like the guy who got his *** handed to him. u think u know everything and think u are superior. well if u think u are a know it all go out and make your own lancer stuff and don't come crying to road race when your **** breaks. the rest of us are gonna stick with ///RRM!

okay how i see it... this thread is way off topic... only one person in this thread is really hating on rrm... the rest are just trying to point out that this custom kit should not reflect all custom kits after karrem made the sweeping generalization that rrm kits will beat the customs kits. Dont believe just look at the title of this thread, that is what he is implying... now people like andrew and others are just trying to point this out. True a race is a race, but this thread was not made about the race... it was comparing turbo setups, and obvious faults that lie with THIS custom setup.
