Eagle Quick Lube blew my engine
Andy I think you got really lucky here that the motor didn't go KABOOM. I'd watch for the signs that your engine is going to fail (coolant in cylinders, coolant in oil, eating through oil).
Who is Eagle Quick Lube, they must be local only b/c I've never heard of them.

^ Got that right.
Even though your engine is OK (if that is what Mitsu said) make it go kaboom or talk with someone from Mitsu. Just to be on the safe side get a new motor. It's not like you are paying for it anyway.

hey it's like that commercial for synthetic oil (forget which one, Mobil?) where they drained the engines and ran them without oil and the one that had synthetic just kept going

You could always drive the p*ss out of it now. See if you can make it blow up! Same thing happened to me afew years ago. Some dude at G**dyear drained my tran. dry, and dumped 4 extra qrts. of oil into the motor...nice. Never again have I paided someone to do something as simple as oil changes. BTW I guess it means that your next engine is free for you!
Yea, the second that happened to me I would have went 80mph until my engine overheated so bad it would blow the pistons right out of the hood.. then you could also get a free CF hood in the deal too.
