Eagle Quick Lube blew my engine

Ok guys, yes i am to lazy to change my oil. But today i went to Eagle Quick Lube to get my oil changed and while i was driving to pick up my little sisters my drain plug fell out. Well due to my sub system i didn't hear anything weird but about 2 blocks from my house i was smelling something really weird and look at my guage cluster and saw the oil light on. I got in my garage and looked under the car and saw no drain plug and oil comming out. me and my buddy figured that was about 1/4 of a quart on my floor and the rest of my oil was out on the streets (we went back and found the 3 block long oil track). Well long story short i yelled at quick lube got my car towed to mitsubishi and quick lube is paying everything. There were ticking and clanking noises comming from engine when we filled it back with oil and started it. So its not locked up but its pretty ****ed up. So i will soon get the money for a brand new engine and instead be able to fix my engine up i told you all about in this thread https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=134201

EDIT: by the way when i went back to talk to eagle quick lube they said they fired the guy working underneath my car about 30 mins before i got there because he had a bottle of wiskey down there and was wasted. HAHA

it is entirely possible to do a GST engine and fwd tranny. Just gotta know how to do it.

Im waiting for this girl to crash her car so I can start tearing it apart.... she has the GST motor(4g63t fwd) and an automatic tranny.

geez, that sux to hear your motor got trashed because of someones irresponsibility. =( Since they are paying out of pocket at the oil place, I bet they will want to see documentation of all the bills from Mitsubishi, but if you can get away with it, get the 4G69 motor so they will pay at their expense. You have no bills for the engine to worry about, right?

ok got a call from mitsu today. They checked everything out including compresion and said everything checked out good (even though i drove 3 miles with pretty much no oil). They said to keep records on it and a close eye on it for 30,000 miles just incase something does happen quick lube will have to pay for it. Quick lube and mitsubishi were the ones that took care of everything for me, all i had to do was pick it up, didn't even have to sign anything they gave me paperwork and keys and let me go.

i never said it wasnt possible...but why?
1) the orientation on the GST motor is all wrong...
2) everyone talks but no one has onde it...so until i see someone step, then...not its not worth it
3) will all that Fab work be actually worth the effort?...

Your block should probably be honed, but I doubt anything serious enough to STOP the car from driving was done if the motor didn't sieze. Consider yourself lucky. ...Or unlucky. Whatever.
